As part of a Training Consulting process, a Training Needs Assessment is the first step in the training cycle.

It is only possible to plan and implement an effective and successful learning strategy by gathering information on participants' level of knowledge in a particular subject. The success of this process greatly depends on how the assessment process is carried out.
