António Soares Miguel has a Ph.D. in Technologies and Information Systems from the University of Minho, an MSc in Management and an MBA (both degrees from Nova School of Business and Economics), and a degree in Telecommunications and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. António also holds a cybersecurity risk management degree from Harvard University.

He has experience in managing and leading project teams in multinational companies (Siemens, Unisys, and Capgemini). He is a consultant and international trainer in risk management and project management, an invited lecturer at several universities – ISEG, ISCTE, and UNL, and a risk management instructor at INA-National Institute for Administration for senior management positions in the Portuguese Public Administration.

He is also the author of several books on project management, risk management, and team management, published by FCA.

He has a significant set of international certifications:
